Glass pipettes are key factors for microinjection. Tip shape and diameter are two factors for successful microinjection. Many methods are used to make an ideal tip. Simplest way is to break the tip after pulling of the pipettes. However, the tip diameter and shape are not predictable. Broken tips are easy to be blocked and injection volume is hard to control. It is also hard to pass the dura, nerve sheets and the hard cell membrane.
Here we provide the glass pipettes that are precisely beveled with diamond grinding wheel under a microscope. The tip diameter and shape is finely formed. It can be used for various microinjections, especially good for microinjections of suspended cells (stem cells, tumor cells and etc) to spinal cord, ganglia, peripheral nerve. It is also good for oocytes, other organism or tissues.
Currently, we have thick-wall beveled glass pipettes (1.0 mm OD, 0.58 mm ID) and thin-wall beveled glass pipettes (1.0 mm OD, 0.75 mm ID) with variable tip sizes. Thick-wall glass pipettes are stronger and thin-wall glass have large opening for same tip size. We also customize the glass pipettes according your needs.
We charge $10.00 per beveled glass pipette $8.00 for 50+ and $5.00 for 100+ order. You can order your pipettes with Paypal below. You can also download the order form, fill it out and e-mail it back to us. We will fill your order as soon as possible, which usually only takes a few days.
Shipping charge is based on USPS prioritty mail. If you want USPS express or FeDex or UPS. The shipping will be actual charge.
